Thinking Abundant in Uncertain Times

I got an email this morning from someone who is considering joining one of our programs. She expressed concern about investing in her business amid the uncertainty that’s being created in the wake of COVID-19.  

While I hope your world is filled with abundant thinkers, if you come across any clients or prospects who need a reminder about how to navigate these times, I hope this response is useful.

Thanks for reaching out. I can totally understand why you feel this way, and it’s pretty common, actually.

Here are my thoughts on it…

Marketing is always important to a business, but it’s an even bigger deal in uncertain times. 

Back in 2008, there was a similar attitude that cropped up among businesses. 

The ones who doubled or even tripled down on their marketing were the ones who survived and thrived.

The ones who literally cut off the lifeblood of their business (visibility, flow of leads & closing new opportunities) were the ones who only compounded the issues they were facing and felt the most pain.

The way you choose to act in this situation is the way your clients will act as well.

If you maintain a business as usual attitude, continue your own marketing and growth, it’s likely your clients will do the same. 

If you allow scarcity based thinking to dominate, you’ll also attract this from your clients.

It’s your choice.
