The Key to Gain Momentum

How to Overcome Jealousy and Gain Momentum

Creating a business that we love and business that supports our lives and our ambitions is not something that just happens by accident. I find myself sometimes scrolling Facebook and being envious of what other people are doing. It’s tough to see that and recognize even I’m not as far as I would like to be. I’ve got goals that are bigger than what I’ve currently achieved.

I’ve had to pause and look at what is really going to get me to where I want to go. Is it looking at someone else and wishing I had what they had? Or is it looking at what I’ve accomplished so far and recognizing what I’ve done has been the result of consistently showing up and putting in the work?

Given those two options, I know what’s true. Even though it’s easy to get caught up in someone else’s life, what I need to focus on is showing up consistently. When you show up consistently, something starts to happen. Momentum.

How do you know when you have momentum?

At first, it can be hard to see if you’re moving in the right direction. It’s been hard for me to recognize that some of my earliest steps were the most critical ones to get the momentum. It’s given me the momentum to build my web design visual agency. It’s given me the confidence to make hires, the confidence to take on certain types of projects.

When you first start, it’s easy to think that very micro movements in momentum as maybe not moving at all. No matter what you’re doing, no matter what your goal is, making small movements towards that every single day is critically important.

In time, that momentum builds, and one day, you’ll look back and realize that it was the small things you did consistently.

What is the best way to gain momentum?

That is why I’m such a huge believer in coaching, training, and surrounding people around me that are supporters of helping me remain to be consistent. The people that I follow, the books that I read, the people on my team are ones that support consistency.

When I’m around people that support consistency, that’s when momentum shows up and builds.

I know this is a lesson for me. It is easy for me to look outwards and be defeated or disappointed in where I’m currently at. However, recognizing that showing up every single day, doing the small things that it takes in order to move to the next step, is really building momentum.

In time, that momentum isn’t just obvious. You can’t ignore it, and that’s what’s going to drive you and move you forward.

My Solution that Builds Momentum

I have put together a free training that shows you how I introduced a new product offering for current and prospective clients that has helped increase my revenue and drive momentum sky-high.

I’d love for you to be there, and I’ll share with you what has worked best for me, so that you can hopefully adopt some new beliefs about what is possible for your own business.

You can register for the training here, which is free to attend:
