What should you do if the opportunities that were once plentiful are no longer there?

It seems more and more people are talking about recession.  Is there one coming?  Is there one here?  I’ve found no matter what’s happening externally, it doesn’t have to impact you.

Here’s what I mean…

I was once a member of a local chamber of commerce.

Their standard policy was to shut down in the summertime because in their words, “Tucson shuts down in the summer.”

I was blown away to hear this.

I had joined this chamber not 2 months prior, and the only source of my leads (at the time) was taking a break when I wasn’t ready to.

Conditions change in our business all the time.  The question is, do you wait it out or do you do something about it?
