As a parent, taking my young kids to restaurants can sometimes be an adventure. Thankfully, many restaurants are prepared with crayons and kid's menus to keep them entertained.
The parents reading this will know that not all kids' menus are created equally, and sometimes the options that kids are given need to be edited down or customized to get our kids to eat the right things.
For example, I'm a fan of PB&J, but at a restaurant, I want my kid to eat something with some protein and very little sugar. So it's not uncommon for me to scan the menu and offer only the choices I want my kids to have.
