Spontaneous Decision to Change

A few folks reached out to me about the book I mentioned. If you want to send me a direct message, I’ll send you the link.

I don’t talk about this a lot in the Agency Coach community….

When I gave up drinking, it surprised a lot of people.

I had tried before, but never succeeded.

It wasn’t until I read a book that mentioned the idea of “spontaneous sobriety.”

The whole idea is… that you don’t have to “hit rock bottom” in order to justify a change in your life.  You can JUST DECIDE to change.

It sounds silly, but that one idea totally blew my mind.

Drinking may not be a problem for you, but if you’re human, then there are probably things you want to stop doing but find it hard to do.

Once I discovered this, I saw this in my business too…

… I wanted to stop charging and have the courage to charge what I want.

… I wanted to pay myself regularly and stop being afraid of taking money out of the business.

… I wanted to say NO to certain types of clients, and certain projects.

… I wanted to be GOOD at sales and not be afraid or nervous every time I had to sell.

And plenty of other things.

It turns out that making change CAN just be about a decision to do it differently.

This is NOT groundbreaking advice, but I think that’s what makes it work.

It did for me, anyway.
