There are a certain number of people that woke up this morning ready to hire your agency.
These people are what I call, “active searchers.”
They said, “Hey! It’s time. I need…”
… a new website
… stronger rankings
… better reviews
… more visibility online
Or lots of other things.
But how many of them will call YOU?
Sometimes we overthink how to reach active searchers. There are only two ways to do it:
- Rank organically (aka SEO)
- Pay for ads (aka PPC)
That’s it. That’s the only way to reach the people that work up this morning looking for you.
SEO and PPC are two different strategies that serve the same purpose – to let you tap into active searchers. SEO can take some time to achieve results while PPC ads can be launched and work really quickly.
You may already understand this.
After all, you’re a digital agency that offers these services to your clients. BUT, have you ever taken the time to explain it this way to clients?
Helping clients understand “active searchers” is an easy way to simplify digital marketing for them.
When you take the complexities out of what you’re selling and boil it down to basic things anyone can understand, that’s a recipe for success.
Meanwhile, all of your competitors are going to be confusing the heck out of their potential clients and hoping (and praying) they figure it out on their own.
Don’t be lazy. Teach your clients. As a good friend of mine says, “When we teach, we win.”
