Clients buy you (not your stuff)

There are two different ways to sell digital marketing and websites…

Which one comes more naturally to you?

1. Do you sell based on why the client needs the service you provide?

OR

2. Do you sell based on why the client should hire YOU to provide the service?

In my experience, the BEST clients already know why they need your services. (Sure they may need help deciding and that’s totally normal.)  

BUT, when it comes down to it…. The best ones already KNOW they need a website, they already KNOW they need help with their reviews or they already KNOW they need paid ads, etc.

Clients that don’t already know that they need web or digital marketing services tend to be the more difficult clients.  Convincing someone that they need it is a red flag to me.

When you can instead focus your energy on why YOU are the BEST person for the job, that’s when sales are far easier.
